London (Web Desk): Priyanka Chopra’s long-time friend Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, has approved of the actor’s engagement to singer Nick Jonas.
A source tells E! News that the Quantico actress received the seal of approval of her fiancé—celebrity BFFs, they're just like us—and that the Duchess of Sussex is "very excited" for the soon-to-be husband and wife.
"Everyone is very happy and they are definitely a great match," the insider further shared.
Nick and Priyanka have been inseparable since first stepping onto the scene as a couple just two months ago, just a wee bit shy of Meghan's memorable wedding to Prince Harry.
Earlier, Priyanka opened up about her recent trip to India with singer Nick Jonas.
While attending the Vogue x Saks Hamptons Dinner at Wolffer Estate Vineyard on Thursday, the Quantico star, 35, told People magazine, "We’re getting to know each other and I think it was a great experience for him."
“It was really beautiful. He had a great time,” she added.
Speaking about her ideal date night , Priyanka remarked that what’s most important is “being in a surrounding where you can actually get to know them and it’s not about doing something that takes away from each other.”
“I wouldn’t want a date night in an activity. That’s not a date. That’s a thing you do together, but date night is important to have two people be themselves and be able to spend time together and still love each other,” she continued.
Priyanka Chopra, 35, brought Nick Jonas 25, to India earlier this month. After a brief stay in Mumbai, they went to Goa for a holiday with the actress' family.
