Karachi (Staff Report): State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that banks across the country will remain closed on January 2 (Monday).
According to a notification issued by the central bank, banks will remain closed for public dealing on Monday, January, 02, 2017, on account of bank holiday.
According the SBP’s notification issued on Tuesday, all banks / DFIs / MFBs shall, therefore, remain closed for public dealing on the above date. However, all employees of banks / DFIs / MFBs will attend the office as usual.
