Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government has announced a slight cut in fuel prices, reducing the rate of petrol by Rs0.58 per litre and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs0.17 per litre for the next three days.
A notification issued by the Petroleum Division of the Ministry of Energy said the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products under the government’s established pricing formula.

With the latest adjustment, petrol will now be sold at an ex-depot rate of Rs342.02 per litre, down from Rs342.60, marking a decrease of Rs0.58.
The price of High-Speed Diesel has also been lowered, falling by Rs0.17 from Rs371.61 to Rs371.44 per litre.
The revised prices will apply from Saturday, August 29, until Monday, August 31, 2026.
