Morocco names 655-mile coastal highway after Donald J. Trump

Rabat  (Web Desk): Morocco’s King Mohammed VI has announced the naming of a 655-mile coastal highway in honour of US President Donald J. Trump.

According to Arab media reports from Rabat, a royal decree issued by King Mohammed VI has renamed the highway stretching from Tiznit to the southern city of Dakhla as the Donald J. Trump Highway.

In response, President Trump thanked the Moroccan king for the honour and expressed appreciation for the gesture.

Trump said he was grateful to King Mohammed VI for the recognition and added that he hoped to travel along the “remarkable highway” in the near future.

The move highlights the close relations between Morocco and the United States and comes as both countries continue to strengthen cooperation in various fields.
