Balochistan Govt announces bounties on nine 'highly wanted female militants'

Quetta (Web Desk): The Balochistan government has announced financial rewards for information leading to the identification and arrest of nine highly wanted women allegedly associated with the banned terrorist network referred to by authorities as “Fitna al-Hindustan.”

According to the provincial government, rewards ranging from Rs1 million to Rs1.5 million have been announced for credible information that could help law-enforcement agencies locate the wanted individuals.

Authorities have assured the public that the identities of people providing information about the suspects will be kept strictly confidential. The move is aimed at encouraging citizens to assist law-enforcement agencies in tracking down individuals wanted in connection with terrorism-related activities.

The wanted women are reportedly from the areas of Gwadar, Jiwani and Turbat. They have been identified by authorities as Hanifan Bibi, Ayesha, Ruqayya, Hafsa, Zahra, Amina Bani, Zarmeen, Iqra and Azizan.

The provincial government has urged citizens with credible information about the whereabouts or activities of the wanted individuals to come forward and share it with the relevant authorities. Officials said the confidentiality of informants would be maintained to protect those assisting the authorities.

The announcement comes as security agencies continue efforts to identify and apprehend individuals suspected of involvement in militant activities in Balochistan.
