PM Shehbaz takes notice of complaint against SNGPL

Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken notice of a complaint filed by Transparency International Pakistan against Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) over alleged violations of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules.

According to a press release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the complaint relates to reported irregularities in tendering processes and possible non-compliance with PPRA regulations.

The prime minister directed the relevant departments to carry out a detailed investigation into the matter.

PM Shehbaz also made it clear that if the allegations are verified during the inquiry, those found responsible should face appropriate disciplinary action.
