Karachi (Staff Report): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday ended the day with negative trend as the benchmark KSE-100 Index lost 77 points to close at 42,666 points.
The KSE-100 Index managed a day's high of 42,958 points early in the session but went on a downward spiral to hit a low of 42,600 towards the day's close.
Nearly 145 million stocks worth Rs 7.29 billion were traded on the exchange, with the power generation and distribution sector dominating trading with 36.5m shares traded.
