Washington, USA (Web Desk): Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat attended Chiefs of Defence Staff Conference at USA on subject of countering threat of violent extremism, said a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s public relations wing.
Representatives of 75 countries attended the Conference. Chairman also met Commander US Central Command, Gen Joseph L. Votel.
On sidelines of the Conference, Chairman also held bilateral meetings with Chiefs of Defence Staff of Turkey and Brazil.
During the meeting, matters related to bilateral security interest and measures to improve the defence cooperation were discussed.
