Balochistan (Web Desk): Tremors were felt in several parts of Balochistan after a 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck the province on Friday, according to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre.
The earthquake was centred approximately 60 kilometres northeast of Kohlu and occurred at a depth of 17 kilometres, the seismic monitoring authorities said.
The tremors were felt in Kohlu, Zhob, Barkhan, and Rakhni, causing concern among residents. However, no immediate reports of casualties or damage to property were received.
Earlier in the day, another earthquake was also felt in Kohlu, making it the second seismic event to affect the district within hours.
Authorities are monitoring the situation, while residents have been advised to remain cautious in case of possible aftershocks.
