Rawalpindi (We Desk): Security forces killed 18 Indian-sponsored Khwarij in Zhob District of Balochistan during last 48 hours, the military’s media wing said on Thursday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), further to an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Zhob District of Balochistan on Tuesday last, in which eight Indian sponsored Khwarij were successfully neutralized, the security forces conducted a comprehensive area sanitization operation in the district yesterday to hunt down hiding Khwarij belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij.
“During the conduct of operation, own forces tracked down Khwarij on multiple routes and effectively engaged their locations. After an ensuing fire exchange, ten Indian sponsored Khwarij were sent to hell,” the statement said.
It added that weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the Khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
The military’s media wing said that sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area.
“Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision "Azm e Istehkam" as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” the ISPR said.
