Kasur (Staff Report): Some unidentified persons opened fire leaving at least two Punjab Highways Patrol officials martyred in Raja Jang area of Kasur on Friday.
ASI Sajad Haider and Farmaish Ali sustained critical injuries when Punjab Highways Patrol officials tried to stop two motorcyclists at a check post near Malkan Wali Haveli upon which the motorcyclists resisted and opened fire.
The injured officials were rushed to Sharif City Hospital where they succumbed to their wounds.
According to details, the bodies of the martyred Punjab Highways Patrol officials were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Kasur for autopsy.
