Bushra Ansari criticizes Dubai lifestyle, calls it “overly branded”

Karachi (Web Desk): Senior Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has expressed her views on Dubai’s lifestyle, describing it as overly “branded” and criticizing what she called a culture of show-off and artificial luxury.

A video clip of the actress has gone viral on social media, in which she discusses the lifestyle in Dubai and her personal impressions of the city.

Bushra Ansari said that whenever she visits Dubai, she feels overwhelmed by its environment, where everything appears heavily branded and focused on luxury. She remarked that even public spaces and people’s lifestyles reflect a strong emphasis on expensive and luxury items.

She added that many individuals appear to be focused on outward appearance, with artificial enhancements and expensive accessories, which she personally finds unappealing.

According to her, such a lifestyle does not attract her, and she prefers a simple and practical way of living.

The actress also stated that she has no interest in Dubai’s Golden Visa or any related privileges, saying she does not see any personal need for it and only visits the city when required for work.

Bushra Ansari further commented that while cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi are known for cleanliness and modern infrastructure, she feels that more focus has been placed on external beauty rather than the education and development of society.
