IHC grants one week to police for recovery of missing NCCIA official 

Islamabad (Web Desk): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday granted the police an additional week to locate Usman, the missing Deputy Director of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).

The directive came during a hearing presided over by Justice Azam Khan, who emphasized that the purpose of the proceedings was to resolve the issue rather than continue granting extensions without progress.

During the hearing, the lawyer representing the petitioner informed the court that Usman’s wife, Rozina—who had initially filed the petition seeking his recovery—has also gone missing, adding another layer of concern to the case. The revelation prompted serious questions about the circumstances surrounding both disappearances.

Federal Police DSP Legal Sajid Cheema informed the court that the missing officer had been handling several critical investigations, including the high-profile case involving TikToker Ducky Bhai.

He further disclosed that some other members of the same investigation team have also disappeared, raising suspicions about possible links between the ongoing investigations and the disappearances.

Justice Azam Khan instructed the police to intensify their efforts and ensure concrete progress before the next hearing.

The court subsequently granted the authorities one more week to recover the missing officer and adjourned the proceedings until October 31.
