ICC updates rankings across Test, ODI and T20I formats

Abu Dhabi (Web Desk): The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest player rankings for Test, One-Day International (ODI) and T20 International cricket.

In the Test batting rankings, Pakistan's Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have each dropped one place. Rizwan is now ranked 19th, while Babar has slipped to 20th position. England's Joe Root has climbed to the top of the Test batting rankings.

In the Test bowling rankings, Pakistan spinner Noman Ali has fallen one spot from sixth to seventh place. Meanwhile, New Zealand fast bowler Matt Henry has become the world's number one Test bowler.

Henry is only the third New Zealand cricketer in the last 36 years to achieve the top spot in the ICC Test bowling rankings.

In the ODI batting rankings, Babar Azam has retained his sixth position, while New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell continues to hold the number one ranking among ODI batters.

Among ODI bowlers, Pakistan's Abrar Ahmed remains in second place, while Shaheen Shah Afridi has maintained his eighth position.

In the T20I batting rankings, Pakistan batter Sahibzada Farhan has retained third place. In the T20I bowling rankings, Abrar Ahmed continues to occupy third position, while Mohammad Nawaz has dropped one place to 12th in the latest standings.
