Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha on Sunday tied the knot her long-time partner, Zaheer Iqbal.
According to India media, the celebration began with an intimate civil ceremony, followed by a wedding party at the Bastian in Mumbai.
The publication reported that the dress code was “formal and festive, just don’t wear red”.
An Instagram post shared by the newlyweds said, “On this very day, seven years back in each other’s eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife.”
Stars who attended the wedding reception included Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Rekha, Chunky Panday, Kajol, Arbaaz Khan, Saira Banu, Vidya Balan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Tabu.
