Cambodia, Thailand clash in disputed border area, 12 dead

The Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Cambodia of launching attacks on civilian areas, intensifying the already tense situation.

In response, the Thai military has deployed F-16 fighter jets to the border region. Both countries have recalled their diplomatic staff as part of a growing diplomatic standoff.
