Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan increased significantly on Monday, while silver rates remained unchanged in both the domestic and international markets.
According to the latest market figures, the price of one tola of gold increased by Rs4,200, taking the new rate to Rs487,136 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold also went up by Rs3,601, reaching Rs417,640.
Gold prices also recorded an increase in the international market, where the price of the precious metal rose by $42 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in the local market. One tola of silver continued to be priced at Rs7,379, while the rate for 10 grams stood at Rs6,326.
In the international market, silver also remained stable at $69 per ounce.
The latest figures show a clear upward movement in gold prices, while silver rates have remained steady for the time being.
