Pakistan announce squad for 3rd Test against England

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Pakistan men's national selection committee has announced the playing XI for the third and final Test against England, set to begin on Thursday, October 24, in Rawalpindi.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), captain Shan Masood’s team will remain the same after their impressive performance in the second Test.

In that match, spinners Nauman Ali and Sajid Khan were key players, effectively troubling the English batsmen and helping Pakistan secure a 152-run victory in Multan. This win tied the three-match series at 1-1, setting the stage for an exciting decider.

To replicate the successful conditions from the second Test, selectors and team management have asked the curators in Rawalpindi to prepare a pitch similar to that of Multan. The traditionally batting-friendly Pindi pitch will be modified, with curators using large pedestal fans and heaters to dry the surface and square.

The series has featured ups and downs for both teams. England started strong with a commanding win by an innings and 47 runs in the first Test in Multan, but Pakistan's impressive response in the second Test has set the stage for a thrilling finale.

Pakistan's Playing XI for the Third Test:

Saim Ayub, Abdullah Shafique, Shan Masood (C), Kamran Ghulam, Saud Shakeel (VC), Mohammad Rizwan (WK), Salman Ali Agha, Aamir Jamal, Noman Ali, Sajid Khan, Zahid Mehmood.
