World Book and Copyright Day observed

Islamabad (Web Desk): World Book and Copyright Day, is being observed today (Thursday), across the globe including Pakistan, drawing attention to the value of reading and the role books play in shaping minds.

This year’s theme, "Go All In: Read Into It," encourages children and families to explore reading materials that reflect their personal interests, hobbies, and passions, making the experience more engaging and meaningful.

In their separate messages, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the importance of the occasion, noting that World Book and Copyright Day promotes reading habits while emphasizing the need to seek knowledge and guidance through books.

They also conveyed their greetings to readers, writers, authors, publishers, teachers, and students both in Pakistan and across the globe.

President Zardari and PM Shehbaz also acknowledged and paid tribute to the contributions of the country’s literary community for its vital role in fostering intellectual growth and development.
