PM Shehbaz, Kuwait Crown Prince discuss regional developments on sidelines of UNGA

New York (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah in New York on the sidelines of the High-Level Segment of the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Tuesday.

At the meeting, PM Shehbaz conveyed his cordial greetings to the Crown Prince and reiterated Pakistan’s longstanding fraternal relationship with Kuwait.

The two sides took stock of bilateral relations and explored opportunities to broaden cooperation across areas of common interest.

PM Shehbaz emphasized the importance Pakistan attaches to its relations with Kuwait and highlighted the potential for enhanced cooperation in trade, investment, energy and human resource development.

The two leaders also discussed developments at the regional and international levels and reaffirmed their common commitment to advancing peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
