Pakistan, Saudi Arabia sign visa abolition agreement for diplomatic, official passport holders 

New York (Web Desk): Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have reached an agreement to remove visa requirements for diplomatic and official or special passport holders.

The agreement was signed on Tuesday on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, who is accompanying Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the UNGA session, signed the agreement with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan.

In a post shared on X, DPM Dar said that the agreement would make high-level contacts and institutional cooperation between the two countries more convenient.

He said the development would also help strengthen the long-standing and brotherly strategic relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia across areas of mutual interest.
