DPM Dar in New York to attend UNGA session

New York (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived in New York on Monday to take part in the high-level discussions of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), which will run from September 22 to 26.

He is included in the Pakistani delegation that will be led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

At the airport, he was received by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States (US), Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, along with senior members of the mission.

Besides accompanying the prime minister to his numerous engagements, Ishaq Dar will 

During his stay, Ishaq Dar will not only accompany the prime minister in his engagements but will also speak for Pakistan in a series of ministerial and high-level meetings.

In addition,  deputy premier is scheduled to hold more than a dozen bilateral interactions with fellow foreign ministers on the sidelines of the assembly.
