Security forces conduct successful operations against Khawarij in KP's Bajaur

Bajaur (Web Desk): Security forces carried out a decisive operation against Khawarij elements in Bajaur, successfully dismantling their network of hideouts and tunnels in the Shahi Tangi forest, the security sources said on Wednesday.

Acting on precise intelligence, the forces targeted a cave suspected to be used by the militants.
During the operation, a heavy exchange of gunfire erupted, leading to the killing of one Khawarij militant, while several others sustained injuries and managed to escape.

After the engagement, the troops conducted a thorough clearance of the tunnels and nearby forest areas.

The operation also resulted in the recovery of a cache of weapons, explosive devices, and communication equipment that had been in use by the militants.
