Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices across the country have seen a significant increase, with the price of one tola (11.66 grams) rising by Rs2,300.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of one tola of gold has surged to Rs428,862, marking an increase of Rs2,300.
The association also reported that the price of 10 grams of gold has risen by Rs1,972, bringing it to Rs367,680.
Furthermore, the price of gold in the international market has also risen, with a $23 increase per ounce, bringing it to $4,065 per ounce.
This increase in gold prices has caused a ripple effect in the domestic market, impacting jewelry and gold trading businesses. Experts suggest that the global gold market's fluctuations, particularly in the wake of changing economic conditions, are largely responsible for this price hike.
