Islamabad (Web Desk): World Water Day is being observed across the globe, including Pakistan today (Wednesday).
The day is aimed at accelerating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis across the world.
To enforce its Water Action Agenda, the United Nations (UN) will organise a three-day water conference with collaboration of Tajikistan and the Netherlands in New York today, the Radio Pakistan reported.
More than sixty five hundred delegations including a hundred ministers and a dozen heads of state and government representatives will participate in the Water Conference.
The conference is designed to deliver rapid progress on internationally-agreed water and sanitation targets, which are parts of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 6.
