Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Five people including three innocent children and two adults embraced Shahadat and multiple children sustained injuries as innocent school going children bus was targeted in Khuzdar today.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), in yet another cowardly and ghastly attack, planned and orchestrated by terrorist state of India and executed by its proxies in Balochistan on Wednesday.
After having miserably failed in the battlefield, through these most heinous and cowardly such like acts, Indian proxies have been unleashed to spread terror and unrest in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“Having failed in the "Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos" and being hunted by military and law enforcement agencies, these Indian terror proxies are being employed as a state tool by India to foment terrorism in Pakistan against soft targets such as innocent children and civilians,” the statement said.
The military’s media wing said that use of terrorism as a state policy by Indian political government is abhorrent and reflective of their low morality and disregard of basic human norms.
It added that planners, abettors and executors of this cowardly Indian sponsored attack will be hunted down and brought to justice and heinous face of India will be exposed in front of the entire world.
“Pakistan Armed Forces, with support of brave Pakistani nation, stand united to uproot Indian sponsored terrorism from Pakistan in its all manifestations,” the ISPR said.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan, which claimed the lives of five individuals, including three innocent children.
In a statement, President Zardari extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for strength and patience in their time of grief.
He called the attack on school-going children an inhumane and despicable crime. The president held India responsible for backing terrorist groups involved in such atrocities.
The president reiterated that the state of Pakistan would fully expose India’s role in sponsoring terrorism at international forums.
“Terrorists targeting education and innocent lives are enemies of humanity,” the president said, adding that these acts are aimed at derailing development in Balochistan, but the nation remains resolute.
“Those who wish to disrupt the peace and progress of Balochistan will not succeed,” he affirmed.
President Zardari also emphasized the state’s unwavering commitment to completely eliminating Indian-sponsored terrorist networks and ensuring justice for the victims.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also issued a strong condemnation of the incident, describing it as a savage and calculated attack on the future of Pakistan.
Expressing deep sorrow over the martyrdom of the children and their teachers, the prime minister conveyed solidarity with the grieving families and directed authorities to apprehend the perpetrators without delay.
He instructed for immediate and high-priority medical treatment for those injured in the attack.
PM Shehbaz declared that targeting school children was a vile attack on the nation’s values and its future, revealing the terrorists’ hostility toward education in Balochistan.
“By striking a school bus, these enemies have crossed all limits of brutality,” he said.
The prime minister affirmed that Pakistan would relentlessly pursue and punish those responsible.
“We will not rest until these Indian-backed terrorists are brought to justice. No effort will be spared in thwarting their evil designs,” he added.
PM Shehbaz stated that the people of Pakistan, along with the security forces, remain committed to eradicating terrorism and protecting the peace and progress of the country.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Wednesday strongly condemned the blast near the school van in Khuzdar which left six children martyred and 40 injured.
In his condemnation statement issued here, he said that India is promoting terrorism as a state policy, targeting a van of children in Khuzdar is an attack on humanity.
He said that India is spreading terror in Balochistan through its agents, India is carrying out such cowardly attacks after Pakistan gave a befitting reply to the aggression.
The CM said we would expose India’s disgusting face to the world and added that security forces and the nation would uproot every manifestation of terrorism for maintaining durable peace in the country.
Mr Sarfraz Bugti said that Pakistani nation and army are united against Indian conspiracies, attacks on soft targets show India’s moral lowliness.
He also expressed his sorrow for the precious lives of children and prayed for early recovery of injured children.
According to the Khuzdar Administration, the van carrying children was on its way to School when it was targeted through a suicide blast on National Highway-Karachi near Khuzdar.
As a result, six children were martyred and 40 others sustained injuries.
The bodies and the injured were shifted to nearby hospital where the treatment of the injured were started while the authorities said that further investigation was underway.
