Pakistan, Azerbaijan vow to enhance cooperation in law and justice sector

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan and Azerbaijan have reiterated their commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the areas of law, justice, and judicial reforms.

The understanding was reached during a high-level meeting between Pakistan’s Minister of State for Law and Justice Barrister Aqeel Malik and Azerbaijan’s Minister of Justice Farid Ahmadov in Baku.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Executive Judicial Training Programme titled “The Judicial Craft,” which is being held in Baku under the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Ministries of Justice of Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

During the discussion, both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing institutional collaboration, sharing expertise, and promoting judicial capacity-building initiatives.

The two ministers expressed their resolve to continue working together to improve legal frameworks, strengthen justice systems, and benefit from each other’s experiences in judicial reforms.

The ongoing training programme reflects the growing cooperation between Pakistan and Azerbaijan in the legal and judicial sectors and highlights their shared interest in developing stronger professional ties between their respective institutions.
