Islamabad (Web Desk): A delegation from Honeywell Technologies, headed by its Vice President and General Manager Barry Glickman, met with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb in Washington, D.C., to discuss potential investment and cooperation opportunities in Pakistan’s energy sector.
During the meeting, the Finance Minister welcomed Honeywell’s proposed plans to modernize and expand Pakistan’s refinery sector, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in strengthening the country’s domestic refining capabilities.
Muhammad Aurangzeb said the proposed project could help reduce Pakistan’s dependence on imported petroleum products while improving energy security and supporting the growth of the industrial sector.
He further noted that the initiative aligns with Pakistan’s broader economic objectives by encouraging investment, promoting sustainable development, and contributing to long-term economic growth.
The meeting underscored the government’s efforts to attract international investment and develop strategic partnerships aimed at enhancing Pakistan’s energy infrastructure.
