Karachi (Web Desk): Gold and silver prices experienced a notable dip in the domestic market on Friday.
According to the the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs2,000, settling at Rs307,000 compared to Rs309,000 the previous day.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold saw a reduction of Rs1,714, falling to Rs263,203 from Rs264,917, while 22-karat gold for 10 grams dropped by Rs1,571, now priced at Rs241,278.
The silver market also recorded a downward adjustment, with the price of per tola silver reducing by Rs38 to Rs3,430, and the cost of 10 grams of silver falling by Rs33 to Rs2,940.
In the international market, gold prices retreated by $23, now trading at $2,930, down from $2,953, while silver saw a marginal decline of $0.21, bringing its price to $32.94.
