PSL 11: Multan Sultans defeat Rawalpindi by 6 wickets

Karachi (Web Desk): In the Pakistan Super League Season 11, Multan Sultans secured a convincing six-wicket win over Rawalpindi, earning two valuable points and moving up to second place on the points table.

After winning the toss, Rawalpindi opted to bat first and posted 166/4 in their 20 overs. Daryl Mitchell top-scored with an unbeaten 58, while Sam Billings contributed 29 and captain Mohammad Rizwan added 26 runs.

In reply, Multan Sultans chased down the target comfortably in 18.4 overs, losing four wickets. Steve Smith led the charge with a solid 56, while Ashton Turner remained unbeaten on 37.

With this victory, Multan Sultans climbed to second position with 12 points from eight matches, while Peshawar Zalmi continue to lead the standings with 15 points.
