Gold price decreases by Rs6,800 per tola in Pakistan 

Karachi (Web Desk): The gold prices declined in the local market, reflecting a notable drop across all categories.

As per data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs6,800, reaching Rs470,362 compared with the previous day’s closing rate of Rs477,162.

In the same trend, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold went down by Rs5,830 to Rs403,259 from Rs409,089.

Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold also became cheaper, dropping by Rs5,344 and settling at Rs369,667 against the earlier rate of Rs375,011.

Silver prices also moved downward in the domestic market. The per tola price of silver decreased by Rs125 to Rs7,974 from Rs8,099, while 10 grams of silver slipped by Rs107, moving down to Rs6,836 compared to Rs6,943 previously.

In international trading, precious metals followed a similar pattern as gold lost $68 to settle at $4,480 against $4,548 recorded earlier. Silver also edged lower, falling by $1.25 to $74.90, according to the association.
