Gwadar (Web Desk): The security forces on Wednesday foiled a terrorist attack on Gwadar Port Authority Complex killing all eight terrorists.
According to sources, eight terrorists of outlawed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) cowardly attempted to target the complex today, but the timely action by the security forces frustrated the militants' bid to enter the security complex.
As per the sources, multiple explosions were heard after firing in the complex.
A large contingent of security forces responded to the attack and foiled the attempt by the attackers to enter the complex, the sources maintained.
While the operation was ongoing, the local police established a cordon around the area.
Meanwhile, Makran Division Commissioner Saeed Ahmed Umrani confirmed the incident and number of slain terrorists.
The Majeed Brigade of the proscribed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the attack.
