ECNEC approves 11 projects of various sectors

Islamabad (Web Desk): The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has given the green light to eleven new projects covering a wide array of sectors, from Transport and Communications to Environmental initiatives

The committee’s meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, also approved the updated PC-1 for the Dasu Hydropower Project, reaffirming the government’s commitment to advancing key energy infrastructure.

In a move aimed at nurturing the country’s next generation of engineers, ECNEC endorsed a policy framework to offer training to as many as 10,000 young engineers annually, ensuring their placement in ongoing and upcoming development projects.
