Lahore: Lollywood's upcoming movie ‘Parchi’, starring Hareem Farooq and Ali Rehman Khan in the leads is going to be the first Pakistani film to release in Saudi Arabia after progressive move of the Crown Prince.
According to details, the cast of said that ‘Parchi’ is going to be the first Pakistani film to release in ‘conservative Saudi on a shift’.
The upcoming flick is slated to be released on January 5.
In addition to Saudi, the film is to release in the United States (US) on January 12 and in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Jan 5, same as Pakistan.
The film also stars Ahmed Ali Akbar, Usman Mukhtar, Faizan Sheikh, Shafqat Cheema, Mojiz Hasan and Faiza Saleem among other actors.
Saudi Arabia has lifted ban on cinemas after some 35 years following Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman s move to making the state open to progressive ideas.
