Karachi (Web Desk): Gold rates in Pakistan registered a decline on Monday, tracking a dip in the global bullion market. In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs4,900, closing at Rs501,162.
Likewise, the rate for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs4,201, settling at Rs429,665, according to figures issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
Earlier on Saturday, gold prices had moved upward, with the per tola rate rising by Rs4,500 to reach Rs506,062.
In the international market, gold also faced losses, falling by $49 to stand at $4,788 per ounce, a figure that includes a $20 premium.
At the same time, silver prices in the local market also edged lower, shedding Rs145 to reach Rs8,417 per tola.
