Gold price decreases by Rs100 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold rates moved slightly downward in Pakistan on Saturday, as the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs100 per tola to Rs460,236, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also dropped by Rs85, bringing it to Rs394,578. Likewise, 10 grams of 22-karat gold became Rs78 cheaper and was available at Rs361,709.

In the international market, gold prices also recorded a marginal decrease of $1, with the price settling at $4,377 per ounce, the association reported.

Silver prices also declined in the domestic market. The price of one tola of silver decreased by Rs69 to Rs7,100, while the rate for 10 grams dropped by Rs59 to Rs6,087.

Meanwhile, international silver prices slipped by $0.69 to $66.22 per ounce, according to the association.
