Rajanpur (Web Desk): At least eight people died and several others injured after two passenger buses collided on the Indus Highway near Shahwali area of Rajanpur on Monday.
According to rescue sources, a bus en route to Karachi from Peshawar, and the other travelling from Quetta to Rajanpur, rammed into each other due to fog on the Indus Highway.
The injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment.
Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Chaudhry Parvez Elahi expressed his condolences on the loss of lives in the accident.
He sought a report of the incident from the authorities concerned.
The Punjab CM directed to provide best treatment facilities to those injured in the accident.
