PSL 10: Karachi Kings defeat Quetta Gladiators by 56 runs

Karachi (Web Desk):  In the 8th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, Karachi Kings defeated Quetta Gladiators by 56 runs at the National Stadium, Karachi on Friday.

Batting first after winning the toss, Karachi Kings posted a competitive total of 175 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. James Vince led the charge with a brilliant 70-run knock, supported by David Warner’s 31 and Tim Seifert’s 27.

In reply, Quetta Gladiators struggled throughout their chase and were bowled out for just 119 runs. Saud Shakeel scored only 3, while Mohammad Amir top-scored with 30 runs. Karachi’s bowlers put on a dominating show with Hasan Ali picking up 3 wickets and Mohammad Nabi taking 2.

From the Quetta side, Mohammad Amir and Ali Majid claimed 2 wickets each during Karachi’s innings.

Speaking after the toss, Karachi Kings captain David Warner noted that the pitch looked a bit dry and chose to bat first, considering the minimal dew in previous games.
