DPM Dar, British High Commissioner discuss bilateral ties and regional developments 

Islamabad (Web Desk): British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott met Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad to discuss bilateral ties and prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed Pakistan-UK relations, including the understandings reached during Ishaq Dar’s visit to Britain in August.

British High Commissioner Jane Marriott called on Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar @MIshaqDar50. Discussions centered on Pakistan-UK relations, and the understandings reached during the DPM/FM’s recent visit to the UK in August, and ways to further strengthen cooperation across areas of mutual interest. The DPM/FM underscored the importance of sustained high-level engagement, and also discussed regional and international developments of mutual interest.

They also explored further opportunities to enhance collaboration in areas of shared interest.
