Peshawar (Agencies): Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday inaugurated 24/7 Torkham Terminal at Pak-Afghan border.
The terminal will serve round the clock, seven days a week.
Earlier of this month, the border was opened twenty-four hours on trial basis since 2nd of this month. The Project has been completed at a cost of 16 billion rupees.
The PTI government took this decision to enhance trade with Afghanistan and facilitate the business community of the two countries.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan, and other senior civil and military officials were also present on the occasion.
