Islamabad (Web Desk): Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has strongly reacted to the Indian Army Chief’s recent statement, warning that if India repeats aggression, its geography will be changed and it will be made part of history, warns Khawaja Asif
In an interview on a private TV channel, he rejected what he called Indian threats and said that India is still “feeling the pain” of past responses. He added that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully prepared to give a strong and decisive response to any aggression.
Commenting on the situation in the Middle East, Khawaja Asif said that another attack on Iran by the United States or Israel appears unlikely, as the international community and regional countries are not in favor of further conflict and destruction.
On domestic political matters, the Defence Minister dismissed rumours regarding a proposed 28th Constitutional Amendment, stating clearly that no such discussion has taken place at the federal cabinet level so far.
