Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti vows to defeat conspiracies against Pakistan

Quetta (Web Desk): Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has declared that the people of Balochistan, together with the Pakistan Army, will continue to stand united against every attempt to undermine the country's stability.

Speaking to more than 4,000 students from 18 different cities attending the Summer Camp organised by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Bugti said Pakistan was founded to remain strong and enduring.

He stressed that Balochistan is an inseparable part of the country and voiced confidence that the province would continue its journey toward lasting peace and development.

Discussing the security situation in the province, Bugti said that militant groups had mercilessly killed courageous residents of Balochistan because they refused to side with them.

He said that terrorists deliberately targeted Mangi Dam due to its significance as one of the province's major water supply projects.

Bugti maintained that no cause or ideology could ever justify acts of terrorism or violence.

Commenting on the recent attack on police personnel, he said the additional force dispatched to assist officers at the scene was also attacked.

The Balochistan CM noted that a judicial commission had been established to investigate the incident, adding that its findings would be shared with the nation.

Bugti said that certain political figures used the Quetta sit-in to spread what he described as false narratives against the state, despite Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) publicly claiming responsibility for the attack.

“Such messaging forms part of a coordinated effort to misguide young people and weaken state institutions,” the Balochistan CM said.

Speaking about Pakistan's recent military confrontation with India, Bugti said that the country, under the leadership of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, responded decisively to Indian aggression.

The Balochistan CM said that the entire nation stood firmly alongside the armed forces during Marka-e-Haq, while militants allegedly acting on India's behalf witnessed the consequences faced by those directing them.

Bugti further said that Afghan territory was being used for terrorist activities against Pakistan.

He said that militant groups operating against Pakistan were receiving support from India's intelligence agency.

Expressing optimism about the future, the Balochistan CM said the country's future is bright and that every citizen would one day be able to live freely without fear.
