Security forces kill over 9 terrorists in Balochistan operations: security sources

Quetta (Web Desk): More than nine terrorists were killed by security forces during intelligence-based operations (IBO) carried out at several locations across Balochistan, the security sources.

According to security sources, the security operations were conducted in Ziarat, Harnai and Surab under Operation Rad-ul-Fitna 3.

Security personnel also recovered weapons and ammunition from the terrorists killed during the operations.

The Ministry of Interior, in a statememt shared on X, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi lauded the security forces for their successful actions.

“The interior minister commended the professional capabilities of the security forces for sending more than nine terrorists of Fitna-al-Hindustan to hell,” it added.

The minister said that the campaign against Fitna-al-Hindustan and Fitna-al-Khawarij was being pursued with full intensity and would remain ongoing.

The latest operations come as security forces continue their efforts to counter militant threats across Balochistan, where a series of operations have been conducted in recent days.

On Monday, security personnel killed two terrorists and wounded three others during an intelligence-based operation in the Killi Zaik area of the province.

A day earlier, seven terrorists were killed by security forces during another IBO in the Lajay area of Kharan.

On Saturday, security forces eliminated 10 terrorists and injured several others in an intelligence-based operation conducted in the Shor Pard area of Khuzdar district.
