If Americans could not handle Iran, then they should not mess with China, says Belarus President Lukashenko

Minsk (Web Desk): Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has said that the United States (US) President, Donald Trump has shown to the world that the US is not that powerful as perceived.

Lukashenko, who made this statement during an interview on state television, was speaking on the current crisis between the US and Iran.

He said that if the Americans could not handle Iran, then they should not mess with China.

The Belarus president added that if Washington struggles against Iran, it would face even greater challenges dealing with a global power like China.

He further stated that the United States’ key interests are linked to gaining control over oil and gas resources, and it pursues these objectives through various means.

Responding to accusations of authoritarianism, Lukashenko claimed that US policies in regions such as Venezuela, Cuba, and parts of the Middle East reflect real authoritarian practices.

He said the US presents itself as a defender of democracy, but in reality lacks genuine democratic values and respect for human rights.

Criticizing Western human rights narratives, he also alleged that the US, alongside Israel, targeted a school in a sovereign country thousands of kilometers away, resulting in civilian casualties.
