PSL 10: Karachi Kings set 238-run target for Peshawar Zalmi

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): In the 27th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, Karachi Kings posted a mammoth total of 238 runs against Peshawar Zalmi, thanks to explosive half-centuries by David Warner and James Vince.

The match is being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, where Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and opted to field first. Speaking at the toss, Zalmi captain Babar Azam said their aim would be to restrict Karachi between 170 to 180 runs, which he believed would be a chaseable total.

Babar further shared that he would be coming in to bat at the one-down position today. "The pitch looks dry, and it makes me happy to see fans coming to the stadium just to watch me play," he added.

On the other side, Karachi Kings skipper David Warner appeared confident ahead of the game. He said his team was fully prepared to put on a strong performance and entertain the crowd. He described the pitch as excellent for batting.

With Warner and Vince leading the charge, Karachi Kings powered their way to an imposing total, leaving Peshawar Zalmi with a daunting 238-run target to chase under pressure.
