California, United States (Web Desk): Facebook has introduced an exciting feature to its application that will allow users to directly send GIF, an animated image, into comments using a native GIF button.
The company stated that to share a GIF, users will find the button sitting next to the emoji button in the text field of the Facebook comment window, and from there they can search for a GIF by typing, horizontally scroll through the results, and tap to share.
Facebook has expressed hopes that by adding a GIF button directly into the comment bar, it will encourage more people to reply with animated images.
An upgraded version of Facebook will available to download soon on the App Store and Google Playstore for free.
