Rawalpindi (Staff Report): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday met with Commander Polish Land Forces Brigadier General Wojclech Granowshi and discussed matters of mutual interest including defence, training and bilateral security cooperation, said a press release issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s public relations wing.
According to ISPR, both exchanged views on regional security and the delegation was given a detailed briefing on operational and training activities of the Pakistan Army.
The visiting Polish commander acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in the fight against terrorism, added ISPR.
On arrival at the General Headquarters, the commander of Polish land forces laid a floral wreath at the Martyr’s Monument and was presented a guard of honour by an Army contingent.
