Security forces kill 34 India-sponsored terrorists in separate KP IBOs: ISPR

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Security forces have killed 34 terrorists linked to the Indian proxy Fitna al-Khawarij in three separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the military’s media wing said in a statement on Thursday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), from October, 13-15, 2025, 34 Khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khwarij were killed in multiple engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

"On reported presence of Khwarij, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the security forces in general area Spinwam, North Waziristan District. During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location and after an intense fire exchange, 18 khwarij were sent to hell," the statement said.

The military's media wing said that another intelligence based operation was conducted in South Waziristan District and in ensuing fire exchange, 8 Khwarij were neutralized.

The statement said that in third encounter that took place in Bannu District, own troops successfully neutralized 8 more Khwarij.

“Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area as relentless counter terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” the ISPR said.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the country’s security forces for eliminating several terrorists affiliated with the Indian-sponsored group Fitna-al-Khwarij during multiple operations conducted in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The president in his statement, paid tribute to Pakistan’s Armed Forces and security agencies for their successful anti-terrorism operations, particularly in North and South Waziristan and Bannu.

He said these actions were a source of pride for the entire nation, showcasing the professionalism, courage, and unwavering resolve of Pakistan’s security forces.

The president noted that the timely and effective measures taken by the security agencies had played a vital role in improving peace and stability across the country.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s firm commitment to eradicating terrorism in all its forms, he said that the ongoing operations under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” campaign would continue with full determination.

He emphasized that Pakistan would completely eliminate the India-backed Fitna-al-Khwarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan and would not rest until the threat of terrorism was entirely removed.

President Zardari added that the whole nation stood united behind the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies in their mission to protect the homeland and preserve peace.

In his statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the professionalism of the security forces for successfully foiling the malicious intentions of terrorists.

He assured that every possible measure would be taken to ensure the safety of the people and the stability of the country.

The prime minister reaffirmed that Pakistan’s counter-terrorism drive would persist with full determination until the menace is completely eliminated, emphasizing that the government remains firmly dedicated to a terror-free Pakistan.
