Madinah al-Munawwarah (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday paid his respects at Roza-e-Rasool (Peace Be Upon Him) and prayed for the country’s development and the well-being of its people.
Having arrived from Jeddah along with his delegation, the prime minister was welcomed by Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He later visited Masjid-e-Nabawi, where he offered prayers, seeking progress for Pakistan as well as global peace and harmony.
During the visit, the Saudi authorities specially opened the doors of Roza-e-Rasool ((PBUH)) for the prime minister and his delegation, allowing him to pay his respects.
Following the conclusion of his stay in Saudi Arabia, the prime minister is set to travel to Qatar’s capital Doha for the second leg of his three-nation tour, where he will hold a bilateral meeting with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
