Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan and Russia have reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthen cooperation in the railway sector, reflecting continued efforts to deepen bilateral ties in transport and infrastructure development.
This renewed commitment was discussed during a meeting held in Islamabad on Monday between Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi and the Russian Trade Counsellor.
On the occasion, the railways minister underlined that Pakistan Railways presents wide-ranging investment prospects for international partners, particularly in areas related to railway infrastructure development and joint ventures.
The Russian Trade Counsellor, meanwhile, conveyed optimism that enhanced collaboration between relevant institutions of both countries would play a key role in further strengthening cooperation in the railway sector.
